Mar 01, 2022 (newstodate): One European country stands out in refusing, so far at least, to follow suit in enforcing sanctions on Russia: Serbia.
As a result, Serbia is not among the countries counter-sanctioned by Russia and can still operate air traffic to and from Russia.
As one of few European airlines, Air Serbia is now operating its flights between Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and Moscow with Airbus A330-200 aircraft against A320 earlier used on the route, even going up from normally five to eight weekly rotations.
Air Serbia is also continuing servicing its route between Belgrade and St Petersburg.
