Mar 31, 2022 (newstodate): The low-cost carrier Norwegian is planning a summer 2022 schedule with 70 aircraft to operate on a network comprising 270 routes.
The carrier is, however, fighting to get its fleet in shape for the summer season as it still faces delays in readying its incoming new aircraft for commercial service.
Norwegian is thus still chartering in capacity to cover the shortfall of own aircraft, currently operating two Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Airhub Airlines, two Airbus A320 from DAT, and one Boeing 737-800 from Jettime.
