Mar 03, 2022 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ACMI and charter carrier Avion Express has scored a major success in landing a long-term contract with Eurowings, keeping almost all its aircraft busy.
   Member of the Lufthansa Group, the leisure carrier Eurowings has signed a long-term wet-lease contract with Avion Express comprising no less than 11 Airbus A320 aircraft, with effect from the coming summer 2022 schedule.
   The aircraft covered by the contract will be provided by Avion Express' Maltese subsidiary with 10 Airbus A320 in the fleet, and Avion Express that operates two aircraft of this type.
   With a fleet of 94 aircraft serving an extensive route network and 11 international bases, Eurowings is Germany’s largest leisure airline.
