Mar 21, 2022 (newstodate): Sweden's Luleaa Kallax Airport is to welcome a new operator from next winter's schedule: Transavia.
Member of the KLM/Air France Group, the low-cost carrier Transavia will be operating a weekly rotation between Paris Orly Airport and Luleaa Kallax Airport with the first flight on December 22, 2022, with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Half of the seats are allocated to leisure travelers by one of France’s largest tour operators, Quartier Libre, while the remaining half will be sold in the market.
Luleaa will be the second Swedavia airport to be served by Transavia France that has provided direct service from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to France since the summer of 2021, starting out with a weekly rotation from Montpellier, in southern France, during the period June 11 to August 13, 2021.
Already a few weeks later, Transavia broke news of its second route between Sweden and France, with the opening of flights from October 21, 2021, between Stockholm and Paris Orly Airport with three weekly departures during the winter schedule - to be extended into the summer 2022 schedule.
Later, Transavia also announced the start of services on a third route between Stockholm and Lyon-Saint Exupéry with a weekly rotation from January 29 to April 16, 2022.
