Mar 28, 2022 (newstodate): Finnair is back in Iceland with its seasonal flights between Helsinki and Keflavik from March 29, 2022.
For a start, the carrier will be offering four weekly rotations, primarily driven by the tourism sectors, but also boosted by cargo sales, with Iceland's seafood exports a key customer for the belly capacity with options for onward carriage to destinations on the airline's Asian route network.
Finnair's route to Keflavik complements its existing code-share agreement on services operated by its airline partner Icelandair, offering customers fast connections between Asia and Iceland.
