Mar 16, 2022 (newstodate): Delta Air Lines has confirmed plans for flights between the USA and Iceland in summer 2022.  
   The carrier will launch flights with Boeing 767 aircraft on the route connecting New York and Keflavik Airport from May 2, 2022, adding flights on the route between Minneapolis and Keflavik Airport with Boeing 757 aircraft from May 27, 2022.
   From June 1, 2022, the number of weekly flights by Delta Air Lines and Iceland will then go up to 14 rotations.
   Except for 2020, when Covid-19 brought all travel to a standstill, Delta Air Lines has been online at Keflavik Airport with seasonal flights since 2011.
