Mar 16, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish provider of aircraft maintenance, Northern Aerotech will have a new owner: FEAM Aero.
Acquiring EASA Part 145 certified Northern Aerotech from its founder and CEO, Morten Schalls Jorgensen, is the US-based MRO provider FEAM Aero as part of its strategy to grow its line station network in Europe by the acquisition of the six Northern Aerotech line stations.
This will increase the number of FEAM-operated locations in Europe to 12 line stations and bring the total of its coverage to 42 line stations.
The acquisition of Northern Aerotech follows their earlier acquisition of UK-based BOSA, a globally approved aircraft maintenance provider, representing FEAM’s first expansion into the European market at six airports.
Northern Aerotech was established on January 1, 2011, with SmartLynx as its launch customer, later adding airlines including Avion Express, Blue1, Estonian Air, Ryanair, KLM Cityhopper, flyNiki, easyJet, Lufthansa, Great Dane Airlines and CSA to its portfolio.
