Mar 29, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish carrier DAT successfully landed a contract with Corendon for flights during the period from April 1 till October 31, 2022.
Under the contract, DAT will allocate two Airbus A320 aircraft and one Airbus A321 to initially start operations at Antalya for Corendon Airlines.
From June 24, 2022, the two A320 will shift base to operate flights instead from Copenhagen Airport, while one A321 will move to Billund Airport to be operating Corendon Airlines and Corendon Airlines Europe flights to European leisure destinations.
The contract requires DAT to hire no less than about 100 new cabin staff and 18 pilots to be hired internationally - but all placed on Danish terms and conditions as agreed with the Danish unions.
With full utilization of the airline's three Airbus A320 Faimly aircraft, DAT is now in the market for sourcing two more Airbus A320 aircraft to cater to its business in the coming summer season.
