Mar 18, 2022 (newstodate): The Croatian carrier Croatia Airlines intends to return services to Sweden in summer 2022.
   Starting from June 10, 2022, the carrier will be offering flights between Split and Stockholm Arlanda Airport with two weekly rotations using Airbus A319 aircraft on the route.
   While Croatia Airlines' flights to Stockholm from Split are a novelty, the carrier has been serving the Swedish market with flights to Stockholm from Zagreb from May 19, 2017, marking a return to the Swedish market that was on the map of the carrier during the 90ies. These flights were, however, suspended in 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak.       
   This summer, Croatia Airlines will not be alone in serving the route Split-Stockholm, facing strong competition from SAS, Norwegian and TUI
