Mar 31, 2022 (newstodate): Delta Air Lines has made it a habit to keep markets waiting until the last moment to confirm its plans for seasonal flight services..
   Summer 2022 will be no exception: the carrier has still not confirmed a return of flights to Copenhagen Airport in summer 2022, but at least the service has now been entered into the booking systems as well as on the carrier's website.
   In the plans are thus daily flights between New York JFK and Copenhagen Airport with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft starting from May 27, 2022, until the end of the summer schedule.
   Delta Air Lines has been serving the route to Copenhagen since the 1990'ies - but with repeated suspensions and changes, and leaving the route from September 9, 2001, till it was reopened from May 1, 2006.
   Delta Air Lines became the first airline to contract WFS for cargo handling at Copenhagen Airport, while cargo sales are provided by ProActive Airlines Services as the carrier's GSSA since 2008.
   From June 2, 2015, ground handling services have been provided by Menzies.
