Mar 04, 2022 (newstodate): Going against the tide, the Armenian carrier FlyOne Armenia has launched flights on the new route connecting Yerevan and Moscow.
With the opening flight on March 2, 2022, the carrier is now offering two weekly rotations on the route connecting Yerevan Zvartnots Airport and Moscow Vnukovo Airport with Airbus A320 aircraft.
The route was earlier slated for launch already from December 15, 2021, but delayed due to paper work by the Russian regulator.
Set up by FlyOne in Moldova and obtaining its Armenian AOC in October 2021, FlyOne Armenia leases its aircraft from its mother company and has plans to set up flights to Tehran, Lyon, Kutaisi, Damascus, Krasnodar, Paris, Istanbul and Tel Aviv.
