Feb 15, 2022 (newstodate): The Turkish charter carrier Corendon Airlines is advancing in the Danish market in summer 2022, with a new man in charge of sales.
   Taking up the position as Corendon Airlines Area Sales Representative Denmark is Allan Petersen, bringing in rich experience from the airline business.
   Starting out in 1996 with British Airways as Customer Service Manager, later Corporate Sales Manager based in London till December 2002, Mr Petersen next served with Cathay Pacific till 2020 as Sales Manager Scandinavia, Finland & the Baltics.
   On April 8, 2022, the airline will start out with weekly direct flights from Antalya to Copenhagen, Billund and Aalborg, and as of June 24, two flights to Copenhagen.
   Positioning one aircraft in Billund, Corendon will offer 14 weekly flights to Turkey, Spain and the Greek Islands, while two aircraft based in Copenhagen will be operating 30 weekly flights.
