Feb 01, 2022 (newstodate): Only two years after closing down regional bases in Norway to concentrate business at Oslo Airport, SAS is now making a U-turn in the country with SAS Link.
   Starting from June 2022, SAS will launch a new base at Bergen Flesland Airport, allocating up to three Embraer E195 aircraft and recruiting some 100 cockpit and cabin staff to provide flights on routes to destinations in northern Norway as well as Scandinavia.
   Serving the company, SAS Link, with ground handling services at Bergen will be Aviator Airport Alliance under a five-year contract signed with SAS in 2020.
