Feb 28, 2022 (newstodate): The LCC Norwegian is continuing its build-up of aircraft capacity with a new leasing contract.
   The company has signed a nine-years aircraft lease contract with AerCap for 10 ex-factory Boeing 787 MAX 8 aircraft, with deliveries in H1/2023.
   This will become the first infusion of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in Norwegian's fleet.
   Also part of the new contract are eight new Boeing 737-800 aircraft that will join the fleet already before this summer, bringing Norwegian capacity in the summer 2022 schedule to 70 aircraft to operate on a network comprising 270 routes
    By the end of 2021, Norwegian's fleet comprised 51 aircraft in service.
