On April 7, 2022, Flyr will launch flights on new routes from Oslo to Stockholm and Prague, followed by first flights to Billund and Edinburgh on April 8, and to Pisa from May 6.
The carrier is already in the air with domestic routes from Oslo to Tromso, Bodo, Evenes, Trondheim, Bergen and Stavanger, while flights to Paris were launched from October 14, 2021, followed by the opening of flights from Oslo to Copenhagen and Rome started from October 15, 2021.
Coming up are flights from Oslo to Berlin and Barcelona from March 27, 2022, and to Brussels from May 6, 2022, as well as flights from Trondheim and Bergen to Alicante.
In October 2021, Flyr entered an LoI with ALC, Air Lease Corporation, for six Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The aircraft will be delivered directly from the Boeing factory to Flyr during the first half of 2022, with the first delivery by early 2022 and the remaining five to arrive successively towards the summer.
The LoI also comprises an option for four more aircraft, with delivery in 2023.
In the fleet are now five Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and plans are to expand the fleet to 12-18 aircraft by the end of this year.
