Feb 03, 2022 (newstodate): Norwegian will be an important carrier at Poland's Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport in summer 2022.
The carrier will be operating flights from Gdansk to a total of five Nordic airports, including all four Nordic capitals.
Today, Norwegian is operating five weekly rotations between Gdansk and Oslo, going up to daily flights from April 2022.
Starting from May 1, 2022, Norwegian will add flights from Gdansk to Copenhagen with two weekly rotations; from May 2, 2022, flights will start between Gdansk and Stockholm with two weekly rotations, while flights to Helsinki will also start from May 3, also with two weekly rotations.
In addition, Norwegian will also launch flights between Bergen and Gdansk from June 3, 2022, with two weekly rotations.
Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport was first opened as a destination by the "old" Norwegian on November 12, 2005, with flights from Oslo Airport.
