Feb 01, 2022 (newstodate): New member of the ERA, European Regions Airline Association, is Lithuania's Jump Air.
Jump Air thus becomes the association's 58th airline member alongside some 150 associate members from across the aviation industry, including airports, manufacturers and aviation suppliers.
Established in early 2020 in a partnership between AliPlan S.r.l and EU Wings S.r.l., Jump Air received its AOC on December 31, 2021, and its Type A commercial license in late January 2022, opening for commercial operations in the charter and ACMI segments with its first ATR 72-500 in passenger configuration.
Jump Air plans to grow the fleet by two or three more ATR72 units by the end of 2022, including an ATR 72 type freighter variant to be added already later this spring.
