Feb 21, 2022 (newstodate): Total cargo volumes handled at Copenhagen Airport in January 2022 were up by 100 percent, compared to 2021 - reaching 25,061 tonnes.
   Also, compared to pre-Covid January 2019 the airport managed to increase the total volumes by 11.4 percent, legacy and integrator traffic combined.
   Volumes on legacy carriers alone were 16,721 tonnes in January 2022, an increase by 34 percent, y-o-y - but still 26 percent behind pre-Covid 2019.
   The issue remains cargo on passenger flights, notably on intercontinental routes, that are still marked by the Covid-19 recession; in January 2022 the airport handled 8,533 tonnes of passenger aircraft belly cargo, an increase by 41 percent, y-o-y, but still 16 percent below 2019-level.
