Feb 23, 2022 (newstodate): Iceland's Keflavik Airport will see the return of Air Canada in summer 2022.
The carrier has revealed details of its coming summer schedule, which includes seasonal flights to Keflavik Airport from Toronto and Montreal, in both cases starting from May 2022.
The flights were also planned for summer 2021 - but suspended due to the Covid-19 lockdowns.
With the virgin flight in June 2017, Air Canada became the first Canadian airline and only Star Alliance carrier in North America to fly to Iceland, offering a total of seven weekly flights - four from Toronto and three from Montreal operated by Air Canada's subsidiary Air Canada Rouge.
