Feb 21, 2022 (newstodate): The COVID-19 pandemic situation in Hong Kong is forcing also Finnair to rein in on its scheduled services from Helsinki.
Finnair is thus forced to temporarily suspend its regular flights on the Helsinki-Hong Kong route starting from tomorrow, February 22, 2022, until further notice, rendering only one cargo service available in week 8.
As matters stand now, Finnair will also be operating only one weekly flight on the route through March 2022.
Finnair launched flights to Shanghai in September 2003, and prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, the carrier offered seven weekly rotations on the route.
