Dec 12, 2022 (newstodate): With effect from December 1, 2022, the Danish charter carrier Sunclass Airlines has picked Wideroe Ground Handling for handling of its operations at Oslo Airport.
WGH is already the carrier's handling partner at other airports in Norway.
In the fleet of Sunclass Airlines, part of Nordic Leisure Travel Group, are 10 Airbus aircraft, including eight Airbus A321 and two Airbus A330 aircraft.
In February 2022, Wideroe Ground Handling also landed a contract for ground handling of Norse Atlantic Airways at its home base, Oslo Airport.
May 1, 2021, marked the return by Wideroe Ground Handling to Oslo Airport after 13 years of absence, with the Norwegian regional carrier Wideroe as is launch customer and the Greek carrier Aegean Airlines as its second airline customer.
Heading Wideroe Ground Handling at Oslo Airport is Merete Elvestad as WGH Station Manager.
