Dec 08, 2022 (newstodate): Wizz Air is to bolster it presence in the Albanian market in summer 2023.
   The low-cost carrier will add one more Airbus A320 aircraft at its base in Tirana, opened from Summer 2020, bringing the total allocated aircraft fleet to 10.
   Wizz Air is thus to increase frequencies on a number of existing routes from Tirana, as well as opening flights to new destinations.
   Among six new routes already announced are flights from Tirana to two Polish destinations Poznan and Gdansk from June 3 and 6, 2023, respectively.
   Also new on the Wizz Air route map from Tirana will be flights to Damman in Saudi Arabia starting from April 17, 2023.
