Dec 16, 2022 (newstodate): The Lithuanian IOSA-approved ACMI and Charter carrier GetJet Airlines'  daughter company in neighboring Latvia is now in commercial service.
   On November 30, 2022, GetJet Latvia received its AOC from Latvia's Ministry of Transport, and the new carrier has put its first Airbus A320 aircraft in the air, performing the first commercial flight for a tour operator between Vilnius and Sharm El Sheikh on December 11, 2023.
   Starting out with only one aircraft, the carrier has revealed plans to add more aircraft to the fleet next year as the demand in the commercial flight segment is growing.
