Dec 19, 2022 (newstodate): On October 26, the Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jettime took delivery of its ninth aircraft, a Boeing 737-800 - and the fleet is set to grow again in 2023.
As announced already in November, Jettime will add another two aircraft in time for the summer 2023 peak, bringing the fleet to 11 aircraft, including 10 Boeing 737-800 plus one Boeing 737-700 serving as backup capacity.
During this winter season, some of the aircraft in the Jettime fleet are in for scheduled maintenance and other technical jobs.
One aircraft is based in Helsinki, two at Billund Airport and one on Gran Canaria, with the remaining aircraft operating out of Copenhagen Airport.
To cater to the maintenance of its growing aircraft fleet, Jettime is now recruiting additional technical staff at its technical base at Copenhagen Airport.
Jettime rounded an important milestone in October 2022 by achieving its IOSA certification, enabling the carrier to participate in any tender to serve wet-lease customers with code-share partners.
