Dec 05, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Airseven has now taken delivery of its first Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The aircraft was first operated by Delta Air Lines in 2009 and has later served in the fleets of Norwegian and Ukrainian International Airlines.
The new aircraft adds to the existing fleet comprising three Boeing 737-400 aircraft; airseven started out in December 2020 with two leased Boeing 737-400 aircraft placed on the AOC of its partner, Copenhagen AirTaxi based at Roskilde Airport.
The third Boeing 737-400 was delivered in January 2022 on a lease contract with the British aircraft lessor Aerotron.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Airseven performed its first commercial flight only in June 2021 for Danish tour operators as well as providing wet-lease flights for airlines including among others the Norwegian LCC Flyr.
