Nov 03, 2022 (newstodate): The Turkish/German leisure carrier SunExpress is seeking business in the US market during this winter season.
   The carrier, jointly owned by Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, is ferrying four Boeing 737-800 aircraft to the USA to operate for an American carrier under an ACMI contract.
    The contract is bolstering the operation of the leisure carrier during the coming slack winter season with less tourist traffic to the Mediterranean region, allowing the carrier to optimize its fleet utilization.
