Nov 09, 2022 (newstodate): Today marks the second rotation by Lufthansa Cargo's new freighter service at Norway's Harstad-Narvik/Evenes Airport.
With the maiden flight on November 2, 2022, the company is now offering one weekly rotation with Airbus A321F aircraft on the route between Frankfurt and Evenes, reportedly flying in with e-trade commodities and returning to Frankfurt with some 27 tonnes of Norwegian salmon transferred at Frankfurt Airport for onward flights to destinations in Asia and North America.
While certainly a novelty in the Norwegian market, Lufthansa Cargo keeps a surprisingly low profile on this new service, having issued no press release or statements around the event.
So far, the flights are reportedly scheduled only till the end of this year, leaving open decisions on future operations.
