Nov 10, 2022 (newstodate): The Finnish aviation training company Airport College International Ltd. is continuing to develop its business in the Asian markets.
On November 3, 2022, a cooperation agreement was signed between Airport College International and Jardine Aviation Academy in Hong Kong, aiming at organizing and promoting online training services for airlines, ground handling companies and aviation training institutions in Hong Kong and mainland China.
-Air traffic is en route to recovery back to pre-covid levels and require continued development by the industry players to serve millions of passengers in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area and mainland China.
-Airlines and ground handling companies must meet the growing demand, and staff recruitment and training must be in line with market growth, says Dave Li, Director & General Manager, Passenger Services of Jardine Aviation Services Group.
A delegation from Airport College International Ltd., headed by the company's CEO Pertti Mero, is also now on a road show in Japan to visit existing and new clients for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak, touring Tokyo Narita Airport, Osaka Kansai Airport and Sapporo New Chitose Airport.
With HQ at Helsinki Airport, Airport College International Ltd. was established in 2012 by Pertti Mero, with a solid background in Finnair Cargo and last serving as the company's VP Global Sales for three years till October 2012.
