Nov 18, 2022 (newstodate): Estonian state-owned Capacity Provider, Nordic Aviation Group, has now opened a new base in Lisbon, Portugal, through its subsidiary Xfly.  
   On November 1, 2022, one ATR72-600 aircraft started operations for its customer, the Portuguese carrier TAP, and one more aircraft will join the base at Lisbon by early 2023, both on a wet-lease contract.
   Spreading its wings around Europe with new partnerships in the form of wet-lease contracts, Nordica is also recruiting crews in Germany and is aiming to open two new bases: one in Hamburg and the second one in Munich, to start Airbus A320neo operations on a new AOC for a new European start-up customer in March 2023.  
   Currently operating a fleet of 17 aircraft including seven ATR72-600, nine CRJ900 and one Airbus A320neo aircraft, NAG will soon increase the fleet by a further four Airbus A320neo aircraft.
