Nov 01, 2022 (newstodate): With some delay, the Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jettime has now taken delivery of another Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The delivery of the aircraft, built in 2013, took place on October 26, 2022, bringing the fleet of Jettime to nine aircraft including eight Boeing 737-800 and one Boeing 737-700 serving as backup capacity.
During this winter season, some of the aircraft in the Jettime fleet will be in for scheduled maintenance and other technical jobs, while looking ahead to summer 2023 Jettime expects the fleet to grow to 11 aircraft.
One aircraft is based in Helsinki, two at Billund Airport and one on Gran Canaria, with the remaining aircraft operating out of Copenhagen Airport.
Jettime rounded an important milestone in October 2022 by achieving its IOSA certification, enabling the carrier to participate in any tender to serve wet-lease customers with code-share partners.
