Nov 03, 2022 (newstodate): Provider of ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, Baltic Ground Services has signed its first contract with Ukraine's SkyUp Airlines.
   Under the contract, BGS will be providing SkyUp Airlines with ground handling services at Vilnius International Airport in Lithuania, as well as into-plane fuelling services at Riga International Airport in Latvia and Tallinn International Airport in Estonia.  
   The contract for services in Vilnius is signed for a period of three years, while at this moment, services in Riga and Tallinn will be provided for six months.
   Chartered by the tour operator Join UP! for flights to Mediterranean leisure destinations, SkyUp Airlines entered the Baltic market from this summer schedule, with five weekly flights from Vilnius to Antalya starting from April 30, 2022, followed by two weekly flights from Riga and three weekly flights from Tallinn shortly after.
   Set up in 2005, Baltic Ground Services, with Vitalis Dudys as BGS Group Head of Commerce, is a company in the Avia Solutions Group.
