Oct 12, 2022 (newstodate): United Airlines will reveal new destinations for summer 2023, with an announcement expected today.
   As always, United keeps its news tight, albeit airing some hints on the internet without further details - in passing showing a passenger holding a Swedish flag...
   But now it seems certain that the carrier will return to Stockholm Airport in the summer 2023 schedule, offering a daily rotation between New York Newark and Stockholm from May 28, 2023.
   Stockholm was also on the agenda in 2022, when United Airlines decided to return to Stockholm with the first flight on May 14, 2022, offering daily rotations from New York Newark Airport with Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
   However, the carrier once again scrapped plans for a return to Stockholm, last served in summer 2019, probably due to the increasing competition on the route from SAS and Finnair.
   In summer 2022, the only Scandinavian destination on United's network has been Bergen, in Norway, served from May 5, 2022, with three weekly rotations using Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
