Oct 03, 2022 (newstodate): The brand name Greencarrier Freight Services International AB has now disappeared from the market.
With effect from October 1, 2022, the company and its subsidiaries are now trading under the name of its new owner, JAS Worldwide, still headed by Mikael Forsberg as CEO.
In October 2021, the US freight forwarding services provider JAS Worldwide completed the acquisition of Greencarrier Freight Services International AB, the freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management division of Greencarrier Group.
The transaction allows JAS Worldwide to bolster its freight forwarding activities, expand its geographic footprint into the Nordics, Baltics, and Eastern Europe, and to broaden its service offering to include inland road transportation in Europe.
Founded in 1978 in Italy, JAS has grown from a regional to a global provider in freight forwarding, today covering more than 100 countries with 97 subsidiaries and over 7,000 employees.
With HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden, and managed by Mikael Forsberg as CEO, Greencarrier Freight Services International offers logistic solutions and supply chain management services through offices in 11 countries with 800 employees.
