Oct 05, 2022 (newstodate): Ukraine's SkyUp Airlines is working hard to keep its fleet in the air to generate revenues in support of the country's resistance to Russian aggression.
Calling on airlines to respond to its marketing of aircraft capacity for wet-lease contracts, SkyUp Airlines has already efficiently proved its capability with 4,219 flight operations for nine different airline partners over the last six months, including among others airBaltic, Wizz Air and Freebird Airlines.
In August, SkyUp Airlines took delivery of one more Boeing 737-800 aircraft, bringing the fleet to two Boeing 737-700 and nine Boeing 737-800.
The carrier has obtained Third Country Operator certification by the EU as well as Switzerland, allowing it to operate in all west European markets.
