Oct 07, 2022 (newstodate): Crown Airlines is the name of a new airline venture under formation in Libya.
   The carrier with Ziad Farhoud as its CEO will be based in Tripoli and is currently in the market for applicants to cockpit and cabin positions.
   From the start, the carrier will be operating one Airbus A320 aircraft on a lease contract with Avolon on route network yet to be disclosed, while the start-up date has also not yet been revealed.
   The carrier will reportedly focus on hi-end passenger traffic and is joining the rather long line of Libyan airlines including FlyOya, Ghadames Air Transport, Air Libya, Buraq, Berniq, Libyan Airlines, Afriqiyah and Medsky.
