Oct 19, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish charter carrier Sunclass Airlines will have a new CEO from January 1, 2023: Valdemar Warburg.
Bringing in 15 years of experience in transport, logistics, and airlines in Europe, Asia, and Middle East, Mr Warburg has last been with DFDS for more than seven years, currently serving as DFDS VP, Head of Business Unit Nordic & DFDS Direct.
Prior to that, Mr Warburg was over eight years with McKinsey & Company as Associate Principal, offering consultancy services to global transportation companies including airlines around the world.
From January 1, 2023, Mr Warburg will be heading Sunclass Airlines that operates charter flights from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland for tour operators Spies in Denmark, Ving in Sweden and Norway and Tjareborg in Finland.
In the fleet are nine Airbus A320 and three Airbus A330 aircraft as well as one A330neo due to enter service later in 2022.
