Oct 06, 2022 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport will on the monitors at Poland's Warszawa-Radom Airport, due to open in new shape by Spring 2023.
The Polish carrier LOT is starting operations at the airport with flights to three destinations: Paris, with three weekly rotations from April 27, followed by the launch of three weekly flights to Rome from April 28 - and two weekly flights to Copenhagen Airport, also from March 28.
All flights will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The airport has been in operation since 1920 serving as a dual military/civil airport, relieving the growing pressure on Warsaw's Chopin Airport.
Reconstruction of the airport including an extension of the runway from 2,000 to 2,500 m, and expansion of the passenger terminal started in May 2019, but completion of the works and the launch of operations were delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
