Oct 20, 2022 (newstodate): Air China is maintaining its Scandinavian services in the coming winter 2022/23 schedule.
The Chinese carrier will be operating a weekly rotation on the route from Beijing to Copenhagen, returning via Xian using Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the route.
Stockholm will also be served once weekly with Airbus A330-200 aircraft from Beijing, also returning via Xian.
Air China launched flights on the route to Copenhagen Airport from May 30, 2018, having earlier operated flights on the route while pulling out again from 2001, leaving SAS alone in offering daily flights between the two destinations
Stockholm Arlanda Airport was long the only Nordic airport served by a Chinese carrier, with Air China offering daily rotations on the route from Beijing, and celebrating its 30th anniversary of unbroken services on the route in 2018.
