Jan 18, 2022 (newstodate): The British LCC Jet2.com has again confirmed its appetite for flights to Iceland's Keflavik Airport.
Citing strong demand in the market, the carrier has announced its biggest-ever Iceland program for winter 2022-23, with twice-weekly flights from Birmingham and Manchester as well as its first flights from Bristol to Iceland.
Jet2.com is thus planning for almost 120 services to Iceland from its 10 UK bases, with the additional flights on top of services from Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and Stansted.
Alongside the flights between the UK and Iceland, Jet2CityBreaks is also offering tour packages for UK visitors to Iceland.
Jet2.com made its debut in Iceland in 2019, and had planned to extend its winter flights program for 2020/21 through the summer 2021 - which was however aborted by the lock-downs and suspension of services during the Covid-19 rage.
