Jan 31, 2022 (newstodate): According to the current schedule, Billund Airport will see the AN-225 Mriya freighter on February 4, 2022.
   The flight is one of a large series of freighter and all-cargo flights bringing medical test sets from China to Denmark, with so far three flights on February 4, including one AN-225 and two Boeing 747-400F.
   While this marks its first appearance in Billund Airport, the AN-255 has earlier been operating into Denmark, with the first operation on November 24, 2007, to bring military equipment from Skrydstrup AFB to Kabul, Afghanistan, while the AN-255 also performed four SALIS operations from Skrydstrup AFB to Kabul from January 2008.
   Later, the AN-255 revisited Skrydstrup AFB on June 10, 2010, this time to bring large wind turbine blades produced in China to Denmark.
