Jan 12, 2022 (newstodate): The Slovenian carrier Amelia International is placing a bid for a stake in the heated air cargo business.
   A subsidiary of the French Amelia Group, Amelia International has taken delivery of its first cargo aircraft, a converted ATR 72-200, on January 6, 2022, and the aircraft is now based at Ljubljana Airport.
   The aircraft offering a range of 1,000 nm and a load capacity of up to 8,2 tonnes is placed on the market for ad-hoc, charter and project missions.
  Set up in 2008 as a line and base maintenance organization for helicopters, Amelia International in 2012 became an operator with first flights in Africa.  
   In the fleet today are 13 aircraft, comprising Embraer 135/145, ATR42/72 and F900EX aircraft.
