Jan 19, 2022 (newstodate): In 2016, Norwegian set up its own handling company, Red Handling, to serve its flight operations at London Gatwick Airport.
   Now, Red Handling has a new owner: The US company Fenix Logistix Ireland that will take over Red Handling as of February 1, 2022, as part of its decision to develop business opportunities in Ireland, the UK and throughout Europe.
   Fenix Ireland is part of the Fenix Logistix Inc Group based in Seattle USA and delivers ground handling services at several US locations along with airline logistical support.
   Besides Norwegian, Red Handling also won a contract in 2019 with TAP to provide handling of TAP's flights from Gatwick to Lisbon and other Portuguese destinations.
