Jan 03, 2022 (newstodate): In November 2021, Moscow Cargo, operating at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, successfully completed the first stage of its IATA CEIV Pharma certification.
   The second stage of the audit is slated for completion by September 2022, after fulfillment of a series of recommendations including the operation of storage areas for temperature-sensitive goods as well implementation of specialized training programs for personnel.
   The full CEIV Pharma certification will boost the competencies of Moscow Cargo and Sheremetyevo Airport to handling of pharmaceuticals, including Covid vaccines where over 1,500 tonnes of Sputnik V have already been shipped through Moscow Cargo's terminals in 2021.
   Russia's first CEIV Pharma certification was landed by the Volga-Dnepr Group's AirBridgeCargo Airlines already in 2016.
