Jan 24, 2022 (newstodate): Sweden's Malmo Airport saw its flown cargo volumes modestly up in 2021 by 2.9 percent, y-o-y.
   A total of 22,046 tonnes of cargo was handled, including 12,011 tonnes of international imports and 10,035 tonnes of cargo exports.
   Import volumes thus increased by 9.7 percent, y-o-y, while exports were down by 4.2 percent in 2021.
   On the cargo side, Malmo Airport is almost exclusively served by integrators, while a newcomer in 2021 was DANX, adding Malmo Airport to its Stockholm-Helsinki freighter service with a Metroliner freighter operated by the Spanish airline FlightLine flying in from Helsinki to pick up export shipments to Helsinki before continuing to Stockholm.
