Jan 04, 2022 (newstodate): Starting from April 1, 2022, Icelandair is resuming flights to Narsarsuaq, in southernmost Greenland.
Flights between Reykjavik Airport close to the city center and Narsarssuaq will be operated twice-weekly with Dash 8-400 aircraft.
Other passenger and cargo destinations in Greenland served seasonally or year-round by Icelandair include Nuuk, Kulusuk, Kangerlussuaq and Ilulissat.
Until 2021, the flights to Greenland from either Reykjavik City Airport or Keflavik Airport were operated by the Icelandair subsidiary Air Iceland Connect that was, however, merged with the mother company from March 16, 2021.
