Jan 06, 2022 (newstodate): Hong Kong's authorities have suspended flights from several countries into the territory for a two-week period.
   Comprised by the ruling that so far extends till January 21, 2022, are flights from Australia, Canada, France, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, the UK and the USA, where the Omicron pandemic is raging the most.
   Finnair is thus not comprised by the suspensions and continues to operate five weekly flights on the route between Helsinki and Hong Kong under its running two-weeks short-term schedule.
   -We operate flights to Hong Kong on a normal basis, and the crew has their layovers in Hong Kong. We follow the guidelines of local authorities for enhanced testing and the crew is tested twice before the flight, says Finnair Communications.
