Jan 31, 2022 (newstodate): Finnair is back in Beijing with passenger flights - but still only on a special mission to support the OL.
   After a long period of suspension due to the Covid-19, the carrier performed its first passenger flight from Helsinki to Beijing on January 26, 2022, carrying OL athletes and related OL crews to Beijing, and returning with cargo only the day after.
   Pending a return of scheduled passenger flights when authorities call off the existing limitations, the carrier will still perform a few dedicated OL-flights to Beijing during the period, accepting only cargo on the return flights.
   Finnair's scheduled passenger flights to Beijing have been suspended since February 2020, while the carrier operates two weekly cargo-only flights between Helsinki and Beijing.
