Jan 13, 2022 (newstodate): After a prolonged break around Christmas and New Year, Aeroflot is back with all-cargo services in the Norwegian market.
Starting from November 7, 2021, Aeroflot has been online at Oslo Airport with a weekly all-cargo flight operated with a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft between Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport and Oslo with onward carriage to Asian destinations, notably Shanghai.
From the start, the carrier has been offering a Sunday flight on the route, later adding a second rotation on Tuesdays.
The new service is targeting the Norwegian seafood exporters on the export side, as well as bringing in import shipments from Asia, where disruptions of the supply chain are causing rising problems from bottlenecks in both sea and air transportation.
On the passenger side, Aeroflot returned to Oslo again from May 7, 2021, offering two weekly rotations as before the Covid-19 pandemic.
