Sep 10, 2021 (newstodate): Shippers and handlers of Norwegian seafood exports are eagerly awaiting news on plans for a "Cool Hotel" at Oslo Airport.
The coming new facility will be open to all parties in the seafood logistics industry, relieving the pressure on the existing terminals that today have to store finished pallets alongside the production line at congested facilities with little, or no, space for expansion.
Avinor has published a tender for construction of the Cool Hotel, with bids from potential construction companies to be handed in by Q3, 2021, and results are expected to be published by the end of October 2021, according to Avinor.
