In addition to SAS Scandinavia as the long-haul international carrier, a new mid-size airline will be named SAS Link to provide regional air traffic with a fleet of Embraer 195 E1 aircraft to be delivered by H1/2022.
A third SAS Group company will be SAS Connect replacing the existing SAS Ireland, a capacity provider to SAS and today based in Ireland and Copenhagen providing flights out of London for SAS in Scandinavia. SAS Connect will operate a fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft, and may open new bases in Stockholm and Oslo.
